Crochet Pattern for Shamrock Leaf

Crochet Pattern for Irish Shamrock Leaf

Foundation round

Make a slip knot
make 3 chain crochet stitches
join first and last stitch with slip stitch (due to which we get a small ring)
now we make 10 half double crochet stitches around that small ring

to make stitches around the ring -- yarn over insert crochet hook inside the ring then pull yarn from that ring and complete double crochet stitch

after 10 half double crochet stitches around the ring join first and last stitch with slip stitch.

Shamrock Crochet Leaf ( left half )

make 7 chain crochet stitches
skip 3 stitches after current loop on the crochet hook
in 4th stitch make 4 double crochet stitches using only 1 loop of each stitch
in 5th stitch make 1 double crochet stitch using only 1 loop of each stitch
in 6th stitch make 1 half double crochet stitch using only 1 loop of each stitch
in 7th stitch make 1 single crochet stitch using only 1 loop of each stitch
then make 1-1-1 single crochet stitch in each of next 3 continuous stitches
then reapeat

make 7 chain crochet stitches
skip 3 stitches after current loop on the crochet hook
in 4th stitch make 4 double crochet stitches using only 1 loop of each stitch
in 5th stitch make 1 double crochet stitch using only 1 loop of each stitch
in 6th stitch make 1 half double crochet stitch using only 1 loop of each stitch
in 7th stitch make 1 single crochet stitch using only 1 loop of each stitch
then make 1-1-1 single crochet stitch in each of next 3 continuous stitches

then reapeat

make 7 chain crochet stitches
skip 3 stitches after current loop on the crochet hook
in 4th stitch make 4 double crochet stitches using only 1 loop of each stitch
in 5th stitch make 1 double crochet stitch using only 1 loop of each stitch
in 6th stitch make 1 half double crochet stitch using only 1 loop of each stitch
in 7th stitch make 1 single crochet stitch using only 1 loop of each stitch
then make 1-1-1 single crochet stitch in each of next 3 continuous stitches

Stem Part

make 15 chain crochet stitches
starting from first stitch start making 1 half double crochet stitch in each stitch
join last stitch with next stitch with slip stitch

Shamrock Crochet Leaf ( right half )

1st half leaf
in 1st stitch make 1 half double crochet stitch using only 1 loop of each stitch
in 2nd stitch make 1 double crochet stitch using only 1 loop of each stitch
in 3rd stitch make 4 double crochet stitches using only 1 loop of each stitch
then make 3 chain crochet stitches join 3rd chain crochet stitch with stitch, where we made 4-4 double crochet at left side and right side,with slip stitch
make 1 slip stitch in each stitch for left half of Shamrock leaf which we made earlier
make 1 single crochet stitch in next stitch
then reapeat

2nd Shamrock half leaf
in 1st stitch make 1 half double crochet stitch using only 1 loop of each stitch
in 2nd stitch make 1 double crochet stitch using only 1 loop of each stitch
in 3rd stitch make 4 double crochet stitches using only 1 loop of each stitch
then make 3 chain crochet stitches join 3rd chain crochet stitch with stitch, where we made 4-4 double crochet at left side and right side,with slip stitch
make 1 slip stitch in each stitch for left half of Shamrock leaf which we made earlier
make 1 single crochet stitch in next stitch

then reapeat

3rd Shamrock half leaf
in 1st stitch make 1 half double crochet stitch using only 1 loop of each stitch
in 2nd stitch make 1 double crochet stitch using only 1 loop of each stitch
in 3rd stitch make 4 double crochet stitches using only 1 loop of each stitch
then make 3 chain crochet stitches join 3rd chain crochet stitch with stitch, where we made 4-4 double crochet at left side and right side,with slip stitch
make 1 slip stitch in each stitch for left half of Shamrock leaf which we made earlier
make 1 single crochet stitch in next stitch

Last Round

make 1 slip stitch in each stitch for whole leaf
