Crochet Pattern For Pikachu Face Structure

Crochet Pattern Leprechaun Face Structure

First Round

Make a slip knot
make 3 chain crochet stitches
join first and last stitch with slip stitch (due to which we get a small ring)
now we make stitches around this small ring
to make stitches around the ring -- yarn over insert crochet hook inside the ring then pull yarn from that ring and complete double crochet stitch or half double crochet stitch
now we make--

3 half double crochet stitches and 1 double crochet stitches (place a marker on double crochet stitch)
3 half double crochet stitches and 1 double crochet stitches (place a marker on double crochet stitch)
3 half double crochet stitches and 1 double crochet stitches (place a marker on double crochet stitch)
3 half double crochet stitches and 1 double crochet stitches (place a marker on double crochet stitch)
around that small ring

at last join first and last stitch with slip stitch.

Second Round

make 1 half double crochet stitch in each half double crochet stitch using only back loop of each stitch
each double crochet stitch make

1 double crochet stitch
1 double crochet stitch (place a marker)
1 double crochet stitch
in using only back loop of each stitch

at last join first and last stitch with slip stitch.

Make 7 more rounds pattern

make 1 half double crochet stitch in each all stitch (except for the double crochet stitch with marker placed) using only back loop of each stitch
for the double crochet stitch with marker placed-make

1 double crochet stitch
1 double crochet stitch (place a marker)
1 double crochet stitch
(this you will do in only that double crochet stitch (of previous round) where we placed marker using only back loop of each stitch )

at last join first and last stitch with slip stitch.

fold square in middle and place marker on mid stitches of opposite sides

One half of Square from 1 marker to other marker

make 2 double crochet stitch in each half double crochet stitch using only back loop of each stitch
make 2 half double crochet stitch in each double crochet stitch using only back loop of each stitch

Second half of Square from 1 marker to other marker

for 2 opposite sides make 2 single crochet stitch in each half double crochet stitch

Beard Pattern for Applique

Step 1

we will consider only three sides of face applique, do not do anything on top side of applique
insert crochet hook in left top corner stitch grab new yarn and pull through and make a slip stitch
we make 1 double crochet stitch in 1 stitch and 2 double crochet stitches in next stitch
go on repeating 1,2,1,2,... pattern for all three sides

Step 2

make 1 chain crochet stitch and turn your crochet work
from top starting 15 stitches of both opposite sides, make 1 single crochet stitch in each stitch using front loop of each stitch
for rest (only downside)

1 single crochet stitch
next stitch make 1 half double crochet stitch
next 3 stitches make 1-1-1 double crochet stitch
next stitch make 1 half double crochet stitch
next stitch make 1 single crochet stitch
go on repeating

Last Round

make 1 slip stitch in each single stitch all around
